What is the Basic SkipFit® Routine?
SkipFit® phrases are pre-choreographed skipping skills to 4 x 8 musical beats. Four phrases-A, B, C and D, are linked together to form a SkipFit® routine. Students will perform this routine during the finale/competition at the end of the program.
Why Learn The SkipFit® Routine?
Mastery of Phrase A, which consists only of rope turns works on your ABCs (Agility, Balance & Co-ordination), helps to eliminate many barriers such as having the wrong technique and timing. You are more likely to experience success when you eventually jump into the rope during Phrase B.
The SkipFit® Instructional Kit includes everything you need to teach rope skipping.
1. The SkipFit® Manual contains easy step-by-step instructions and clear illustrations of various rope skills. Includes lesson plans and teaching tips for single rope, long rope, partner skipping and double dutch skills.
2. An Instructional DVD that complements the SkipFit® Manual. It features dynamic displays of each corresponding rope skill as covered in the SkipFit® Manual PLUS a BONUS demonstration of the entertaining SkipFit® routine.
